La Droguerie: A Paris Yarn Shop - Art Print

La Droguerie is a yarn shop in the heart of Paris. A knitter's dream, beautiful yarn in every hue lines an entire wall. I visited this August I took more photos of this shop than of many other famous sites and knew at once that I just had to paint it. 

This special artwork was created in watercolor and ink, during my artists' residency in Orquevaux, France. The ladder invites the viewer in to examine the yarns closely. This artwork would delight anyone who loves yarn or has their own yarn stash.
